Best Ensemble for a Play!

The girls in the cast with Doug Savant
Trivia: Doug and I were in acting class together
at the Howard Fine Studio -
he did pretty well for himself on a little show
they call "Desperate Housewives." For some reason he handed me the statue,
but we later gave it to the man responsible for our win, Del Shores!

Susan is back as "Rayleen"...
"She is trash that will not burn!"

From the author of "Daddy's
Dyin'... Who's Got The Will?", "Sordid Lives," and "Southern Baptist
Sissies", Del Shores' new play is a tragi-comedy about domestic
violence. Set in small town trailer-park Texas, "Trailer
Trash Housewives" explores the lives of Willadean Winkler, her abusive
husband J.D., best-friend LaSonia (pronounced "Lasagna"), and trashy
cocktail waitress Rayleen Hobbs. The play is scored around
soul-soaring blues songs sung by Debby Holiday.
